To get evangelical conservative Christians supporting universal health care explain that if we get universal, single-payer health care now they can then argue that the government (who would then be the sole health care provider for the majority of Americans) can not use tax payer money for abortions because it would be a violation of their first amendment separation of church and state rights.Which is total bullshit, but then again, so are they.
