I Will Throw My Vote Away!

Here is why I pledge to 'throw my vote away' and vote Jake.

I am not one of those people who claims that there is no difference between the two parties. Major differences exist. I do not wish to see Romney in the White House. He and Ryan are at best habitual liars.

I believe that the President of the United States is a representative of the nation.

Obama 'ended' the war in Iraq like promised. He also escalated the war in Afghanistan like he promised. If I murdered 10 people instead of 20 I would still be a murderer. As long as American troops under his command are killing civilians* I can not vote for Obama as my representative. Romney would probably get us engaged elsewhere with an even higher death count. That does not sway me towards accepting a man who supports a war that I do not.

There are other reasons, but that one alone is enough for me. I will not volunteer to be represented by such a man.

Will you support someone who doesn't represent you?

* Which they are. Some might be 'collateral damage' but others are documented as unwarranted massacres.

Imagine Oregon as a magnet that feeds the illicit drug trade for the entire North American continent.

That single opening sentence sets the scene for an entire article full of untruths and distortions.

The image of a magnet is an image of attraction, not distribution.

If legal marijuana growers in Oregon would be breaking federal law by allowing product to be shipped to states where the plant is illegal. What is legally grown in Oregon would stay in Oregon. Their logic would mean that Nevada is a magnet that feeds the illicit sex trade for the entire North American continent. We have evidence that  this is not the case.

There is oh so much more in the article that makes me mad. You want to argue about ending prohibition, fine. Don't use lazy fear mongering tactics.

Folks, I apologize. I have run the lamest excuse for a write-in campaign this year. But that doesn't mean I'm not running.

Is Romney ineligible to become the next President of the United States of America? It’s a very real possibility, especially since he threw a few fundraisers during his disastrous little overseas meet n’ greet a few weeks ago. These fundraisers were extremely private, with no journalists present (with a single exception, who did not have access to the donors), no filming or photography allowed, no diligence done, and no donor IDs checked. If money changed hands at these rich shin-digs (which is quite probable, being fundraisers and all), Romney could be in a lot of trouble.

But seriously, between Romney and running mate Paul Ryan the two have shown clear contempt for everyone but the top 1%. I can only think of two reasons why anyone would still support this clown.
